I recently attended a celebration at a local Botanical Garden.  It was one of the most amazing days I have experienced in many years.

I, for the first time, had the experience of a Blessing Ceremony conducted by a group of Traditional Mexican Healers called Curanderos.  In the ceremony they blessed Mother Earth and called in the Four Directions.  As they drummed, blew the conch, distributed blessed water and smudged participants with the fragrant smoke of burning herbs, the energy became higher and higher.  Divine Energies began to fill the garden.  People began to feel more joyful and exuberant.  There were so many smiling faces. Children were happy and playing.  The healing energy of Light continued throughout the day. Several people shared that they had very powerful experiences of healing from their interactions with the Curanderos.
