HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM AMRITAPURI

Amma blesses the Christmas cake, Amritapuri Ashram

We were delighted to find that Amma broadcasted LIVE the annual Christmas program from her Amritapuri Ashram in South India today!

We were treated to traditional Indian dances and some wonderful skits put on by the ashram residents. We could see Amma sitting in her chair in the middle of the hall watching the program, while surrounded by all the little children who live at the ashram, or who are visiting.

At the end of the program, Amma sang some rousing bhajans, ending with the grand finale of Mata Rani Ki Jai–with everyone standing and calling out in unison, Jai!

It was a wonderful occasion and thousands of international visitors are now staying at the ashram for the holidays.

May you and yours have the happiest of holidays!

Om Amriteshwaryai Namah.

Lenny the Baby Elephant

Christmas arrived early in the Kibwezi Forest: We just received the most beautiful gift, in the form of Lima Lima’s brand new baby boy! He is Lima Lima’s first child and our second Umani grandbaby.

Born from one family’s passion for Kenya and its wilderness, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was established 45 years ago and is best known for its Orphans’ Project, the first and most successful elephant orphan rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a pioneering conservation organisation, dedicated to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of habitats in East Africa.

Are you on your Path?

Are you waking up?

The world is a complex place with so many things that pull us away from our True Self.

We spend our lives just trying to exist in this world, running after all the beautiful, shining objects-and often forget we are here for a higher purpose.

We are here to spiritually awaken!

Whatever form that takes will be your own unique path, a journey to your higher sellf, your True Self, to the enlightened soul you are meant to become.

I am sending out a clarion call, Wake up! The time is now!

Om Shanti, shanti, shanti

Peace, peace, peace.
